Several Bitcoin extraction companies reported a decrease in production in June compared to Mai. This may be due to a decrease in the general hashReet of the network. Nevertheless, the Bitcoin mining market is undergoing positive changes with the emergence of new companies.
Bitcoin production was reduced in June
June 2025 was a turning point when the hashrate of the Bitcoin network fell to the minimum level in eight months. The work of mining farms was influenced by the heat. High temperatures reduced the efficiency of equipment, which forced many miners to suspend or reduce operations, especially in regions such as Texas and China.
At the time of writing, the hashrate of the network demonstrates signs of recovery.
Nevertheless, the reduction in the hashReite affected the results of the work of companies in the production of bitcoins in June. According to the data, several companies in the industry experienced a slight decrease in production when the costs increased by 34%.
In her report, Cango reported that in June she got 450 BTC, which is 7% less than in May (484.5 BTC). Mara announced the extraction of 713 BTC, which is 25% less than in May (950 BTC). Cipher Mining got 160 BTC in June.
Despite the decrease in prey in June, positive signals appear in the sector due to the influx of capital from new companies.
The State Energy Company of South Africa, ESKOM, is considering the possibility of using excess electricity for mining bitcoins. The American company NIP Group was included in the Bitcoin mining sphere. The British company TWL Miner completed the round of financing of the series B by $ 95 million.
This shows the stability of the industry thanks to risk and investment management strategies in modern cooling technologies.
