Ni Fei, President of ZTE Mobile Devices, has confirmed that the promised ZTE Axon 30 smartphone with a camera under the display will eventually hit the market. The manufacturer explained that the release of the device was delayed due to the current global shortage of chips, as well as other issues that the guide does not cover. The manufacturer showed off an updated version of its sub-screen camera technology earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai and said it is vastly superior to the previous generation.
The new phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, like its siblings, and should run Android 11 with ZTE’s new MyOS interface.
