Why users do not like XRP

The ZACHXBT blockchain detective explained why XRP is unpopular among most cryptocurrency users, even despite the recent victories in trials and other achievements.

The main concern, in his opinion, causes the spread of XRP – cryptoactive “is largely aggregated by insiders.” The concentration of tokens in the heads of large companies and early investors creates constant pressure from the sellers and does not allow the price to reach their natural level.

Zachxbt also revealed false statements about partnerships, which, among other things, do not bring real benefits. These exaggerated statements about the active use of the payment corridor and cooperation with banks have formed distrust in the community.

The expert believes that Ripple has lost the advantage of a pioneer in the field of cross -border payments. The competitors made up for the missed, and while Ripple was busy with litigation, they focused on technical achievements and acceptance.

Among other criticisms are “bad mechanisms, such as exploits of partial payment” that undermine the security of the network and user trust. Technical vulnerabilities and disadvantages of the network architecture repel developers and institutional users.

Despite the convincing outcome of the trial between Ripple and SEC, user moods have not changed due to rooted structural problems. The acquisition of Ripple for $ 200 million payments platforms in Rail stabelcoins should make a RLUSD tool of corporate payments. However, critics do not see this solution to the problem of tokenomics and management.

Since the entry into force of the SEC agreement, the prospects for approval of the XRP-ETF have increased to almost 90%, however, the institutional demand is still opposed by the skepticism of the retail community relatively long-term valuable proposal of Ripple.
