Wi-Fi Certified 6 Release 2 takes into account new Wi-Fi capabilities

The Wi-Fi Alliance has developed a second version of Wi-Fi 6 certification to address new Wi-Fi use cases. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6 Release 2 adds features that support increased device and traffic density for improved performance and power management with Wi-Fi devices and applications. Specifically, support for multi-user uplink multiple I / O (MU-MIMO) for better streaming and video conferencing, faster downloads, and smoother gaming. In addition, there are three power management functions that improve the energy efficiency of the equipment. The new requirements apply to all bands supported by Wi-Fi 6: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz.
