Wilko Johnson, guitarist and ‘Game of Thrones’ actor, dies at 75

Wilko Johnson, guitarist for the band Dr. Feelgood and interpreter of Ser Ilyn Payne in the series Game of Thronespassed away at the age of 75 after losing the battle against pancreatic cancer.

The news was confirmed through Wilko’s Twitter account, in which hundreds of messages with condolences and prompt resignation have been received from family and friends of the artist.

Wilko was a guitarist for the band Dr. Feelgood, which began in the 1970s. The group went on to publish several albums and even became a benchmark in the musical genre. pub rock Y rhythm and blues.
