Rocket Lake-S processors are just preparing to enter the market, but by the end of this year they will be replaced by the Alder Lake line.
CPU Alder Lake, unlike the upcoming Intel novelties, will be available in both desktop and mobile segments. And today the data on the processors for laptops have got on the Internet.

According to the leaked document, mobile Alder Lake will be divided into three classes and five subclasses. The three classes are the ultra-energy efficient CPUs we are used to (usually they are denoted by the letter Y, but they will change to M), the usual energy efficient (U) and high-performance (H). True, if you look closely at the table, you can see that there is still another division: M, P and S.
At the same time, the former will be available only in one version with one large core, four small ones and a TDP of 5 W, the latter will exist in three versions with a TDP from 9 to 28 W and the number of large cores from two to six. As for high-performance CPUs, things are even more interesting. To the usual H45 with a TDP of 45 W, which will contain 4-6 large cores, there will also be an H55 with the corresponding TDP. Only such processors will be able to offer the maximum possible combination of eight large and eight small cores for Alder Lake.
Of course, the indicated TDP value (especially for Intel) does not correspond to the real power consumption of processors under load for a long time, but if Intel has decided to increase even the TDP value in new processors, this may indicate that the power consumption is really very high there.
As for the rest, it can be noted that not all processors will get the top GPU with 96 computing units. The same H55 will be limited only by the basic graphics core.
