A change in the opening of Mexican group RBD’s shows divided fans’ opinions.
Anahi, who sings the first part of the setlist’s opening song, started the show by greeting the audience in the center of a platform. However, in the last performances of the “Soy Rebelde Tour”, in Medellín, Colombia, the singer gave up her place to the other members of the group.
On social media, fans speculated that the relay had happened because of rumors of rivalry and comparisons made between Anahi and her bandmates, Dulce Maria and Maite Perroni.
The change did not please everyone. While some admirers approved, others asked for a return to the initial format.
“Each night will be with one member, as it always should have been”, wrote a fan on X (formerly Twitter).
“It makes ZERO sense! The person who starts singing is in the back, and no one is watching. Each one has their standout moment in the show. I don’t know who was worse, who came up with the idea or who accepted it”, said another.
WILL THERE BE “HOLA RIO”?
It’s not long before RBD’s shows in Brazil. The agenda, which features eight performances on Brazilian soil, has generated expectations among the group’s fans.
The most nostalgic ones ask Anahi to play the entry from the Live in Rio DVD, recorded on October 8, 2006, at Macaranã, at its premiere in Brazil, next Thursday (9).

Some fans have even made “calculations” to “predict” who will start each show.
With Christian Chávez at the center today, we can already “imagine” that if the logic continues, in the first show in Brazil, it will be Christopher’s turn and probably Anahi in the second.
