“For cross-flights, we expect our government to make a decision sometime in mid-May. Now the federal executive authorities are preparing their point of view,” Rogozin said.

According to the head of Roskosmos, different positions are being expressed on the issue at the moment. “Therefore, a conciliation meeting will be needed, following which a decision will be made: to conduct cross-flights or not, and if so, when”he concluded. At the same time, Sergei Krikalev, executive director of Roscosmos for manned space programs, told reporters that the draft agreement on cross-flights to the ISS had been approved by the majority of federal executive bodies of the Russian Federation.

Recall that earlier NASA announced that it expects a response from Russia on the issue of cross-flights to the ISS in mid-May. This answer will determine whether Anna Kikina will join the new crew of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.
