Recall that Windows 10X, which was supposed to be the new “light” operating system from Microsoft, has been canceled. Users who have enjoyed the Windows 10X UI changes will be happy to know that some of them may be moving to Windows 10.
Windows Latest has posted screenshots and GIFs showing the upcoming Windows 10 Sun Valley update, as well as a few key UI changes.

One of them is changing the Windows 10 Action and Notification Center, including the ability to swipe up and down on the bottom quick settings toggles to show or hide them.
Other design elements include floating menus with rounded corners. According to Windows Latest, Microsoft accidentally shared a screenshot of an upcoming developer feature that includes a Windows application dialog with rounded corners. This new design can be applied to confirmation windows, warnings, and other dialog boxes in Windows.

Sun Valley is expected to release by the end of this year as a 21H2 update. It will be one of the largest updates to Windows 10 since the release of the operating system.
