Windows 11 will have a smart clipboard. This is not the case in any other system.

Now Windows 11 has integrated a regular clipboard with a history of copied text and media files, but Microsoft is going to expand its functionality. This is reported by the specialized edition of Windows Latest, which found several mentions of the innovation at once in the test builds of Windows 11 22H2.

The new feature, which is referred to as Smart Clipboard, will offer interaction with certain programs (Smart Actions) depending on the copied content and the user’s preferences. For example, if a person often opens Outlook after copying email addresses and pastes them into the recipient line of an email, Smart Clipboard will allow you to do this instantly as soon as the user copies the email.

Other nuances of the innovation are still unknown, but it is clear that Smart Clipboard will not become part of the usual clipboard menu and will receive its own keyboard shortcut. Moreover, this option can be controlled in the settings.
