The program does not close even forcibly, individual tabs stop working, and working extensions may crash. In some cases, on-demand launch does not occur at all.
According to 9to5Google, Google is already aware of the issue and is working on a solution. The easiest way to fix this is to upgrade to Chrome Beta until the patch is released.
