The Brazilian film that Won the Silver Bear at the Berlin Festival titled “The Last Blue” won debut date. The production of Gabriel Mascaro (“Boi Neon” and “Divino Amor”) arrives in Brazilian theaters on the day August 28 .
Set in a dystopian Amazon, where the government transfers elderly to a housing colony to “enjoy” the last years of life, a 77 -year -old woman embarks on a journey to fulfill her last wish.
The title is starring Rodrigo Santoro (“Hilda Hurricane” and “300 ′) and Denise Weinberg (“Greta” and “psi”).
Beyond the silver bear, “The Last Blue” also won two other juries awards parallel to the main competition of the 75th edition of the Berlin Festival: Ecumenical Jury Award and the Berliner Morgenpost Jury Jury Award.
