Winter in the Southern Hemisphere begins this Thursday (20). According to Climatempo, in Brazil the season is expected to start with high temperatures and dry weather.
On this first day, the Brazilian Southeast region will be affected by a high pressure system combined with an atmospheric blockage, which should leave the sky with few clouds. The forecast indicates isolated rains only in areas north of EspÃrito Santo and northeast of Minas Gerais.
The cold front that acts in the South region moves away towards the ocean, but the circulation of winds and different levels of the atmosphere favors cloudy weather and the possibility of rain during the day in the northwest, north, northeast and mountains of Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to the south, west and southwest of Santa Catarina.
According to Climatempo, in the east of Santa Catarina and in the southwest of Paraná, the sky will have many clouds, and there may be rain at any time of the day. In relation to the north of Santa Catarina and the west of Paraná, precipitation is more isolated.
The weather should be stable in the west of Rio Grande do Sul and in the northern and eastern portions of Paraná.
There is the possibility of isolated rain showers and low accumulation for the south of Mato Grosso do Sul. The other areas of the Center-West continue with sun, few clouds and high temperatures.
In the northern region of the country, the first day of winter should be cloudy and rainy, which may be heavier in the western and northwestern areas of Amazonas, in the west of Acre and Roraima, and in the northern half of Amapá.
In Rondônia, Tocantins, in the southeast and east of Amazonas, and in the southern half of Pará, the weather is firm.
With sea infiltration still active, rain may occur over the east and north of the Northeast region this Thursday. The showers can be more intense between the coast of Alagoas and Pernambuco.
The sun appears between few clouds in the western half of Bahia, in the center-south of Ceará, Piauà and Maranhão, and in the interior of Pernambuco, ParaÃba and Rio Grande do Norte. There is no rain forecast in these areas, but the sea should be rough between Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte.
