«Wired Next Fest», the fourth appointment is underway

Continue with the appointment of July 14 the new edition of Wired Next Fest made, as in previous editions, in collaboration with Audi. Within a calendar that is divided into 5 thematic appointments in the space of 6 months, the key word, the fil rouge, which unites all the meetings is Balance: many, different and dynamic to face the constantly changing reality of a world grappling with the effects of the pandemic.

It started on April 14 with an appointment dedicated to entertainment and storytelling, enclosed in the word Play. It was then continued with a second appointment on May 12 dedicated to Social Innovation and with a third the June 16 to topic Next Generation who recorded over
32,000 visits to the minisite, 25,000 video views, 391,000 social reach and 647,000 social impressions. The July 14 instead we will speak of Life, or new lifestyles.

Over the past year and a half, the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on our daily priorities and practices have been profound, exponentially accelerating the transformations and the role of innovation driven by digital technologies: from consumption to sport, from travel to food, from payments to the care of our body, new demands and new needs emerge, and today it is difficult to identify a part of our existence that is not deeply affected by these processes of change. An episode of the WNF to understand how digital is guiding all our habits, none excluded. More specifically, we will talk about how the world of education is changing thanks to digital technologies with the Minister of University and Research Maria Cristina Messa, the CEO and founder of Coursera Jeff Maggioncalda, the rector of the Bocconi University Gianmario Verona and the General Sanofi Pasteur Manager Mario Merlo. While AI expert and law professor at Brooklyn Law School Frank Pasquale will talk about the need for rules that regulate the activity of artificial intelligence. Innovation in the world of economics and finance will be at the center of the discussion with the Director of Merchant services & Solutions Nexi Enrico Trovati, the Head of Digital Business Partner BdT, Private, Products and Retali Digital Channels of Intesa Sanpaolo Massimo Tessitore, the CEO PayTipper, Enel X Angelo Grampa Group; the Deputy Director of FIPE – Italian Federation of Public Exercises Luciano Sbraga; the Country Manager Italy of Klarna Francesco Passone, the Marketing and Digital Manager for freelancers and SMEs, Vodafone Business Italia Raffaele Gricinella; the entrepreneur Davide Ardizzone. Environmental sustainability will be the theme of the dialogue between the actor Massimiliano Loizzi and the President and CEO of the CAP Group Alessandro Russo. How the world of culture and entertainment has changed will be discussed with the standup comedian Michela Giraud, the radio speaker and painter Ema Stokholma, the writer Lavie Tidhar; the author, actress and presenter Federica Cacciola, the design expert, essayist and curator Chiara Alessi and the publisher of Acheron Books Mauro Longo. The new lifestyles linked to the world of travel will be at the center of the meetings with the Councilor for Economy and Tourism of the Tuscany Region Leonardo Marras and the President of Gattinoni Group Franco Gattinoni. There will be no lack of musical performances that as usual accompany the Wired Next Fest. On the stage of the Teatro Gerolamo will be the singer-songwriters Giovanni Truppi and Esseho and the electronic band Tersø.

Theaters, like most places of culture, have been affected more than others by the pandemic, remaining closed. Wired Italia has therefore decided to “reopen” one of these places. All appointments will be broadcast and disseminated on Wired Italia’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and on Next.Wired.it, the Wired portal dedicated to its events. Next.Wired.it is a video-based site that focuses on the people who are protagonists of change and the story of their idea of ​​the future and innovation, as well as all the service info and content of the partners. A portal developed with the aim of extending the visibility and duration of the Wired Next Fest throughout the year, making the event a real media platform. As in previous editions, this year Audi supports the event with which it shares the drive for continuous innovation and the commitment to improve the future through the application of cutting-edge technology at the service of the community.
