A girl – whom her mother described as a “miracle” because she survived a double collapse of the lung at birth – lost her life when she was struck by a tree that fell during a severe storm in Wisconsin on Monday night. 9 -year -old Rose Elizabeth Hendricks was standing on the road outside her home in Green Bay, when a neighborhood tree was uprooted by strong winds and overwhelmed her around 3:30 pm, trapping her for almost 10 minutes. Residents in the area rushed to help the girl, until firefighters managed to unleash her using a car jack, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.
