Wisconsin tragedy: Pitbull mutilated mother trying to save her 4-year-old son from his teeth

A tragic incident occurred in Wisconsin USA when a pit bull uprooted the hands of a mother who allegedly tried to save her 4-year-old son from his attack dog. The woman eventually lost her life, her relatives say.

According to nypost.com, 35-year-old Heather Pingel was savagely attacked at her home in Bowler, northwest of Milwaukee, on December 8.

The boy’s father “came home and found her lying on the bathroom floor. “I have no hands and I’m dying,” her sister Shannon Pingel told the Wausau Daily Herald.

Heather’s son was found sitting in a chair in the dining room with blood running from his leg.

The 35-year-old son made 70 stitches in the leg

The mother of two was taken to hospital where she stayed for a week, but did not make it and ended up last Thursday, according to her family, as she suffered from kidney failure and had both arms amputated.

The son of 35-year-old Damion, made 70 stitches in his leg after being bitten by a dog.

Her family believes the dog started biting her when she tried to save her son from the attack. When the father of the injured boy, Bernarde, returned home he found the dog attacking the mother in the bathroom.

“We do not know how long he was there to fight him,” said Shannon Pingel.

Bernarde, who was also bitten during the test, told police he pulled the dog from Pingel, dragged him into the yard and shot him.

Pingel’s injuries were so severe that she could not give authorities a full description of what happened before she died. He even reported that the dog had previously shown signs of aggression.
