With 68,052 cases, the Draghi government is trying to reopen schools normally after the Lights

In the last twenty-four hours in Italy the incidents are 68,052 and 140 people lost their lives. 445,321 diagnostic tests were performed in the country, 15.2% of which were positive.

There are 1,351 patients with Covid-19 in the intensive care units, while there are 12,333 in the hospital wards. The regions of the country with the most cases, today are those with capitals Milan, Bologna, Florence and Naples.

Meanwhile, so far the Draghi government seems determined not to postpone the scheduled return of students to the desks, after the 7th to the 10th of the month. But Vincenzo De Luca, the governor of Campania with Naples as his capital, called for “a postponement of at least twenty days, in order to reduce the incidence of the cases and to launch a vaccination campaign for the children.” Much will depend, of course, on the epidemiological data of the next two days.

Undersecretary of Health Andrea Costa, for his part, predicted that “the cabinet on Thursday will be able to decide on the gradual extension of the super green pass vaccinated to all categories of workers.”

In this way, according to the Italian Deputy Minister of Health, “part of the 5.5 million citizens who have not yet been vaccinated will be persuaded to receive the first dose of anti-coronavirus drugs.”

“We have to resolve a number of contradictions. We can not ask for the green card to the customers in the coffee bars, and not be obliged to have it by the owners and their employees,” said Andrea Costa on Rai Public Television.
