The Federal Police of Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian Army carried out this Wednesday morning (15) the largest seizure of firearms in the history of the PF in the state, according to the corporation itself.
There were 68 rifles, 12 restricted caliber revolvers, 204 rifle magazines and thousands of ammunition of various calibers, including restricted.
After the operation, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, expressed himself on Twitter on the subject.
“Illegal weapons and ammunition seized today in Rio. Where would that arsenal go? We are fighting criminal organizations of all types every day.”
