We knew that after Chadwick Boseman’s death, the film’s recordings Black Panter: Wakanda Forever they would be detained for some time because they would have problems with the realization. However, they continued and it was even announced that Letitia Wright would be the protagonist.

But now, the project faces a change of plans again. As reported The Hollywood Reporter, production was temporarily paused due to the protagonist sustaining an injury during filming.

Letitia Wright, who is Shuri in the franchise, was cast in the title role of the film after Boseman’s death. After the mourning, the recordings began so that the tape would be released on the agreed date, but the production has had to face different setbacks, one of them is that the actress declared herself anti-vaccines and refused to carry out the reviews and the application of the medicine against covid-19.

Faced with the attacks, and for the protection of all those who work on the project, the recordings were stopped until the strongest waves of the disease passed and now, this Friday, November 5, they reported that they had to temporarily stop it again.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that sources close to the project confirmed that Letitia Wright had an accident on the set at the end of August and therefore the recordings were stopped. Although it was a minor incident and she was immediately discharged, the protagonist did have to take a few days for her recovery to be 100 percent.

It is expected that filming will resume in early 2022 and that all this does not affect the premiere date agreed for November 2022. Now we can only hope that the actress’s recovery is complete and that director Ryan Coogler does not have to delay premiere.
