With a drop for the 6th day, the moving average of Covid cases is the lowest since January 21

Brazil recorded 120,549 cases of Covid-19 and 854 deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours. The numbers were released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).

As a result, there was a drop in both the moving average of cases and deaths — which reached 126,062 and 840, respectively.

Moving averages consider the average of the last seven days and serve to help reduce possible underreporting on weekends.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has totaled 27,659,052 cases of Covid-19 and 639,689 deaths from the disease.
