Brazil recorded 160 deaths and 41,377 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), released this Tuesday (31).
The moving average of cases, up, stood at 26,032 on Tuesday. This is the highest number since March 30, when the indicator marked 26,620.
The moving average of deaths was 110.
The moving average considers the variation of contamination and deaths recorded in the last seven days, in addition to allowing the monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
With the update, the country has a total of 31,019,038 cases and 666,676 victims of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
