With advances in vaccination, Brazil seeks to expand coverage and booster doses

Brazil surpassed the United States on Wednesday (17) in the percentage of the population fully vaccinated against Covid-19, according to data collected by CNN Agency, with just over 59% of Brazilians with complete immunization against the disease. A day before, the Ministry of Health announced the reduction of the interval for the application of the booster dose and the expansion of the age range of those who must receive the third dose of the vaccine for people over 18 years old.
