In the last 24 hours, Brazil recorded 302 deaths and 43,376 cases of Covid-19, according to data released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), this Wednesday (23).
The moving average of Covid cases is at 35,993. The moving average of deaths is at 294.
The indices consider the average of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow the monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
In all, the country has recorded 657,998 deaths and 29,729,991 cases of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
