Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the world, released on Wednesday night (12) the line-up for the 2022 edition, which takes place in April, in California (USA). The event, which has hundreds of artists, will have concerts by Brazilians Anitta and Pabllo Vittar this year.
The two will perform on the two Saturdays of the festival, on April 16 and 23. The artists were also in the line-up for the 2020 edition, which was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I’m so ready! See you on Saturday,” wrote Anitta on social media. Pabllo, on the other hand, limited himself to sharing the poster of the event as part of his global tour.
Considered the biggest pop music festival in the world, Coachella has already featured performances by other Brazilian artists, such as Seu Jorge, Emicida, Céu, Boogarins, The Twelves, Gui Boratto, Amon Tobin, Anna, Bonde do Rolê and Cansei de Ser Sexy. .
In addition to the Brazilian ones, the festival also defined the headliners of the 2022 edition: Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye (Kanye West), names of enormous relevance in current music.
Other featured artists confirmed this year are Lil Baby, Daniel Caesar, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Giveon, Brockhampton, Doja Cat, Joji, Run the Jewels and Finneas (Check out full poster below).
Travis Scott was one of the expected names for this edition, but ended up being discarded after the confusion involving his Astroworld festival. Ten people died and dozens more were injured during the rapper’s concert in November last year.
