With cane, Jeremy Renner walks red carpet after near-fatal accident

Jeremy Renner made his first public appearance on Tuesday (11) since a near-fatal snowmobile accident a few months ago.

With the help of a cane, he walked the red carpet at the premiere event of his new Disney + series “Rennervations” which arrives on the platform this Wednesday (12).

The series follows Renner’s passion for helping communities around the world by renovating and adapting vehicles to meet the needs of the population.

In each episode he has the help of a friend. Among the guests are the actor Anthony Mackie (“Falcon and the Winter Soldier”), actress Vanessa Hudgens (“High School Musical”), Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra and more.

Accident

Actor Jeremy Renner was trying to stop his “snowcat” (a vehicle used in snow) from hitting his nephew when he was pulled under the squashed cleaning machine on New Year’s Day.

The “snowcat” began to slide sideways after the star of “Avengers” used it to pull his nephew’s truck out of the snow, and the handbrake, which was not on, would have stopped him.

The actor revealed that he broke more than 30 bones and is in the process of recovery, with medical follow-up and physiotherapy.
