To the delight of Spider-Verse fans, Sony Pictures revealed the first trailer for “Madame Teia”, starring Dakota Johnson, this Wednesday (15). The film is a spin-off of “Spider-Man” and is scheduled to premiere in February 2024.
In Marvel’s new feature film, audiences follow the life of Cassandra Webb, a paramedic who gains the power to predict the future. She then needs to learn how to handle the ability and how to use it in a New York full of crimes and preventable emergencies.
In the first images, Cassandra reports that she even went to the Amazon, accompanying her mother, who was researching spiders. In addition to her, the trailer also introduces other characters from the Spider-Verse who will have to come together to defeat the villain, identified as Ezekiel Sims.
In addition to Dakota Johnson, names like Sydney Sweeney (from “Euphoria”), Isabela Merced (“Transformers”), Emma Roberts, Tahar Rahim, Adam Scott (“Parks and Recreation”), Mike Epps and Celeste O’Connor are also part of the production cast.
Directed by SJ Clarkson, who has starred in episodes of “The Defenders”, “Jessica Jones”, “Orange is the New Black” and “Succession”.
“Madame Teia” is scheduled to premiere on February 14, 2024 in Brazil.
