Singer Adele published this Thursday (20) a video crying on her social networks, where she announces that she and her team have made the decision to postpone the shows scheduled for the next few days.
She would do a residency in Las Vegas, at the Ceasar’s Palace hotel and casino, one of the most luxurious in the city, with shows starting this Friday (21) and ending only in April. Other stars who have done residencies at The Colosseum, the hotel’s venue, are Celine Dion and Mariah Carey.
Adele said the sudden announcement of the cancellation – less than 24 hours before the first concert – is justified by attempts to adjust plans to make the show happen. “I apologize for being last minute. We’ve been up for over 30 hours trying to figure it out, and now we don’t have time,” said the artist.
She also revealed that half of her team is infected with Covid-19, which made it “impossible” to put together the show. “I can’t deliver what we have now,” he said.
“I am devastated. I’m very upset, very embarrassed, and I apologize to anyone who traveled. [para ver o show]”, he said.
The singer stated that all dates will be rescheduled and that her team is working on it immediately.
The tour is part of the promotion of the singer’s latest work, the album “30”, released in November 2021.
