An official dinner will be hosted by the American president Joe Biden and his wife Jill to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte in the White House. This is Biden’s first official visit to the White House as host since taking office in early 2021.
The dinner menu will include American specialties, butter-poached Maine lobster, American Osetra caviar and beef and potatoes, while they will follow cheeses from Oregon, California and Wisconsin.
The dishes will be accompanied by California wines -Newton ‘Unfiltered’ Chardonnay and Anakota ‘Knights Valley’ Cabernet Sauvignon, along with sparkling wine with French roots from California Roederer Estate Brut Rose.
They will be included in the dessert Orange chiffon cake and roasted pears with citrus syrup along with anthogalo ice cream.
The dishes were presented to the journalists before the formal dinner.
