With moving average at 98, Brazil records 139 deaths from Covid-19 in 24 hours

Brazil recorded 139 deaths and 25,605 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) carried out this Friday (13).

The moving average of cases reached 17,262. The average number of deaths is 98.

The indices consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.

The country has recorded 30,664,739 cases and 664,780 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
