With the expectation of an announcement of support for senator Simone Tebet this Thursday (9), PSDB and MDB intend to discuss the composition of a single government program in the coming weeks.
Responsible for the senator’s campaign guidelines, former Rio Grande do Sul governor Germano Rigotto told CNN who will suggest to the national president of the PSDB, Bruno Araújo, that the acronym send contributions to the government plan.
It is expected that, in the coming weeks, Rigotto will meet with federal deputy Rodrigo Maia (PSDB-RJ), who was in charge of the government’s proposal for the presidential candidacy of former São Paulo governor João Doria.
“I intend to talk to Bruno Araújo and call Rodrigo Maia,” Rigotto told CNN . “We do not disclose the government program, only the general guidelines, just waiting for the definition of support, so that we can work together”, she added.
One of the toucans’ proposals has already been incorporated by the MDB: the adoption of a Social Responsibility Law, with goals to reduce social inequality. The initiative was suggested by Senator Tasso Jereissatti (PSDB-CE), who should occupy the post of candidate for vice-president of Tebet.
The latest election polls showed better performance by the senator in the South and Southwest and among a higher-income and older-age electorate.
The strategy designed by the electoral campaign is, at this moment, to make the emedebista better known, since her level of ignorance is still high.
At first, the idea is to increase the percentage of the senator in both regions, with trips already scheduled for the coming weeks, and, later, to start a tour of the Northeast, including the Ceará of the tucano senator.
