No more restrictions
Previously, Telegram developers limited the number of participants in voice chats, but now this limitation has been completely removed – voice chats in channels and groups are now dimensionless. Moreover, the creators of the messenger believe that their platform can now become a real radio station, since at least a million people can now listen to the speaker at the same time.
Live recording function
Clubhouse users quite often complain about the lack of a broadcast recording function – if a person missed a live broadcast, then they will not be able to listen to it. Telegram solved this problem by introducing the function of recording a voice chat – it can be enabled by the administrator, and after stopping the recording, the audio file will appear in the Favorites of the channel or group. In addition, if you activate a chat recording, a red dot will appear next to the chat name so participants can know that their speech is being recorded.
Raising your hand in voice chat
A user who has not been given the opportunity to speak in a chat can raise a virtual hand to ask the chat administrator to provide him with the opportunity to speak. And to make it easier for the creators of the voice chat to decide who can be provided with the speaker function, the list of participants will display information from the “About me” item. Thus, broadcast participants, for example, can ask questions to the speaker even without the voice function.
