Without Anitta, with Ed Sheeran: Check out the changes in Coachella’s line-up

It is not just Lollapalooza Brasil who suffers from cancellations. If there was the Fonteines DC out here, this year’s edition of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival had its casualties in its line-ups: Anitta and FKA Twigs.

This week, without boast, the event announced two new names for the list of attractions: Ed Sheeran and Weezer. The Californian band Weezer plays on the Mojave Stage, on Saturday (12), from 19h10 (Brasília time); Briton will only perform next week at the same stage Mojave, at 7 pm on Saturday (19).

On March 20, Anitta used her social networks to report that she had canceled her presentation at the world’s leading music festival for personal reasons. “I am really grateful to the festival for the invitation, your understanding and continuous support. I hope to have the opportunity to join all of you in the future and share this special moment together,” concluded the singer.

British FKA Twigs, in turn, announced on Sunday (6) that could not participate in Coachella because of visa problems.

“It’s painful to say this because I’m very excited to bring you a creation in which I put my soul and I believe it is among my strongest work. I know this news impacts many of you who have done plans and spent money to see these shows,” she wrote.

The Coachella 2025 starts this Friday (11), with shows by names like Lady Gaga and Missy Elliott. The festival runs until Sunday (13) and, next week, repeats its line-up almost in full. Check here how to watch this year’s edition of Coachella.
