Without data from two states, Brazil records 198 deaths from Covid in 24 hours

Brazil recorded 198 deaths and 20,143 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) carried out this Tuesday (10).

Acre and Amapá did not notify new data to Conass due to technical problems in accessing the information base of the systems and therefore the updates from the previous day were kept.

As a result, the moving average of deaths reached 99. The moving average of cases is now at 15,994.

The indices consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.

The country has recorded 30,594,388 cases and 664,390 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
