The Brazilian government is not making much of a fuss about the matter, but believes that there will still be another vote in the neighboring country before the final result.
Voting in Argentina takes place until 6pm with the possibility of the results coming out this Sunday. In the case of a second round, the new vote will be held on November 19th.
For the Brazilian government, according to interlocutors, there is a possibility that, in the case of a second round, the right-wing candidate, Javier Milei, could be defeated by Sergio Massa, Economy Minister of the current government.
Last week, in an interview with Reuters, Economy Minister Fernando Haddad said Milei’s victory was a concern for Brazil, as the candidate has said he could break trade relations with Brazil.
