Brazil recorded 60 deaths from Covid-19 and 10,187 cases of the disease in the last 24 hours. The data belong to an update carried out by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), this Friday afternoon (20).
The states: Acre, Roraima, São Paulo and Tocantins did not notify new numbers regarding the coronavirus due to technical problems in accessing the information systems database, and that is why yesterday’s data were kept.
As a result, the moving average of cases was 13,953 and the moving average of deaths was 102. The indices consider the average of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days.
The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, the country has had 30,762,413 infections by Covid-19 and 665,493 deaths from the disease.
