Without new data from four states, Brazil records 125 deaths from Covid in 24 hours

Brazil recorded 125 deaths and 21,344 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) carried out this Wednesday (11).

The updates do not include new data in Acre, Amapá, Piauí and Roraima due to technical problems in accessing the systems’ information base. Therefore, the same numbers as yesterday were kept.

With this, the moving average of deaths is at 106. The moving average of cases reached 16,420.

The indices consider the average number of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.

The country has recorded 30,639,130 ​​cases and 664,641 deaths from Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

Anvisa extends validity of emergency use of vaccines against Covid-19

The National Health Surveillance Agency approved, this Thursday (12), the extension of the validity of Emergency Use Authorizations for medicines and vaccines for Covid-19. With the measure, the current authorizations will remain valid for another year.
