The singer Mara Wonder 56, fondly recalled the most memorable moment he had with Silvio Santos : the day he met Brazil’s greatest communicator in person. In an interview with CNN During the premiere of the film “Silvio”, the artist also praised the production.
“As soon as I arrived from Bahia, I wanted to meet Silvio Santos. I went to sing on his show called Vamos Nessa. That day, after I introduced myself, he said: ‘I already know you and I’m your fan’”, said the artist.
“It was there, at that moment, that he hired me. Without Silvio Santos I wouldn’t be Mara Maravilha,” she assured, emotionally.
On September 4th, when guests were able to see first-hand the film directed by Marcelo Antunez — which hits Brazilian cinemas this Thursday (12) —, Mara Maravilha was one of the presenter’s long-time friends who watched the feature film.
“Silvio is irreplaceable. I had the opportunity to be with him and consider myself a daughter, I called him daddy. I felt him in the interpretation of Rodrigo [Faro] who surprised me as an actor,” said Mara.
