Evan Cutler was walking home from work recently, very late at night, when he saw something that looked like a full moon, except he knew it wasn’t the natural phenomenon.
He stopped the car at an intersection in Montclair, New Jersey, and looked at what he thought was something the size of a school bus hovering 150 feet above a tree line.
“I’m the president of the Montclair Bird Club, I know how to look at the sky. I know how to identify things. So for me, it’s not like I’m an amateur skywatcher. That was like… I immediately knew it was something unusual. Very unusual”, he highlighted.
Since mid-November, New Jersey residents have spotted large and medium-sized objects flying through their neighborhoods. Some have also been spotted in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Staten Island.
“It’s either friendly or foe. That’s what it all boils down to,” said Ryan Herd, mayor of Pequannock Township, New Jersey, who saw 60 objects flying around his municipality.
“I don’t want to think about conspiracy. I don’t want to think about nefarious things. But unfortunately, I think we have a responsibility to think this way. So we are ahead of anything bad that could happen,” commented Herd.
The Pentagon said Wednesday that there was no evidence that the drones that were spotted over New Jersey were from a foreign or enemy entity.
The White House said Thursday that they are investigating the issue.
