“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” arrives on streaming; know where to watch

The first part of the series “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” entered the Disney+ catalog this Friday (20). The second wave, however, arrives in 2025. In total, there are 14 episodes.

The title is a spin-off of the series from 2007 to 2012. The new production brings Selena Gomez and David Henrie in the roles of Alex and Justin Russo, 12 years after the original production ended. Names like Janice LeAnn Brown, Taylor Cora, Alkaio Thiele and Mimi Gianopulos join the cast.

In the plot, Justin Russo lives a normal, magic-free life with his wife Giada and his sons Roman and Milo. Everything changes when Alex arrives at his home with a girl named Billie, who needs his help to learn to deal with her powers with Justin’s support as a mentor.

The original series “Wizards of Waverly Place” tells the story of a seemingly ordinary family who live in New York, but who hide a big secret: they all have magical powers. In the plot, the brothers undergo training to learn how to use and master their gifts, in order to discover who will become the family sorcerer.

The story also produced two films: “Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie” (2009) and “Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex” (2013).
