Wizz Air Holdings announced that it expects expanded net losses in the year 2022, and that it is beginning to see the recovery take shape as it approaches the summer season.
The airline, which is listed in London and focuses on Eastern Europe, said that for the year ended March 31, the net losses are expected to reach 632-652 million Euros.
The company announced a net loss of 572.1 million Euros for the year 2021.
The low-cost airline announced that operating losses for the fourth quarter are expected to reach 190-210 million euros, and that this is due to a stronger business environment.
In January, Wizz Air said it expected operating losses for the fourth quarter to be slightly higher than operating losses of € 213.6 million in the third quarter.
“During the fiscal year 2023, our focus will be on maximizing revenue and returning to pre-pandemic productivity levels, which will lead to improved profitability over the period,” the company said.
