A woman was arrested for mistreating a dog after leaving the animal trapped for more than three hours in a car with the windows closed. The case occurred last Sunday (12) in Balneário Camboriú (SC).
After reporting, a Military Police team found the dog inside a transport box inside the vehicle.
Witnesses said that the animal had been in extreme heat for more than three hours and that there was urine in the box where it was.
Shortly after the police arrived at the scene, the guardian also arrived. She was arrested red-handed and the animal was rescued.
