A woman accidentally broke a sculpture during exhibition at SP-Art on Sunday (6).
According to witnesses, the visitor would have lost control of the wheelchair and bumped into the piece, which was shattered. A riot was generated due to the noise caused.
SP-Art is an art fair that takes place once a year at the Biennial Pavilion in São Paulo. The fair exposes several original works for potential buyers and art critics.
The affected work consisted of a 78 -centimeter ceramic sculpture and a 28 cm x 28 cm base, made by Brennand in 1980. It was valued at the amount of R $ 70 thousand.
