Woman is arrested after ordering the death of her ex-boyfriend who charged her a debt of R$1,600

A woman was arrested this Tuesday (9) in Nova Iguaçu (JR) for having an ex-boyfriend killed after he collected a debt of R$1,600. According to investigations by the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF), Tuyene Paula da Silva Barral was upset by the charges made by Thiago Saldanha do Carmo and hired two men to carry out the crime, which took place in January in Japeri, in the region metropolitan.

According to investigations, Sérgio Felipe da Silva Santos and Jairo Inácio Correia, accused of being the victim's killers, went to a bar where the victim was celebrating his birthday and shot him.

A friend of Thiago was also grazed. The two suspects managed to escape but were arrested in March for the robbery (robbery followed by death) of Record actor Edson Caldas Barbosa. Tuyene, who was hiding in her relatives' house, has no connection with the actor's robbery.

Remember the case

The actor had been missing since February 2nd. According to the police, he had been lured to a meeting in Engenheiro Pedreira, in the municipality of Japeri, in Baixada Fluminense. The invitation came through a couples exchange website.

When he arrived at the scene, the victim was reportedly surprised by the criminals and surrendered. In addition to the watch and other personal objects, Edson was forced to make bank transfers to the account of one of the perpetrators.

Then, according to investigators, he was tied up and placed inside the trunk of his own car. In a thicket in the municipality of Seropédica, also in Baixada, the criminals allegedly executed the actor and fled with his car.

The police believe that a body found in Seropédica recently is that of the actor and have requested a DNA test to confirm whether it is really Edson.
