A woman was arrested last Sunday (6) in Guadalupe, in the north of Rio after trying to kidnap a child.
According to the Military Police, agents from the 41st BPM (Irajá) who were in support on Rua Nova Trento, towards Avenida Brasil, approached the woman’s vehicle, after disobeying the order to stop, and inside they found a dog and alcoholic drinks.
However, later, a lady informed the police that the suspect had tried to kidnap her daughter.
According to the Civil Police, the case was registered at the 31st DP (Ricardo de Albuquerque).
The woman was charged with the crimes of resistance and attempted kidnapping or false imprisonment, and remains at the disposal of the Court.
