A 52-year-old woman was arrested by ruffianism , crime that consists of taking advantage of other people’s prostitution in the Encruzilhada neighborhood, in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, on the afternoon of last Thursday (10). The woman owned a sadomasochism house disguised as an aesthetic clinic which was dismantled by the police.
According to the Civil Police, the operation took place in a residence with the facade of a beauty and massage clinic, but upon entry it was used for prostitution. Several rooms were found at the site equipped with instruments used in sadomasochism, a bar with alcoholic drinks for sale, some sildenafil tablets, used to promote erections, condoms and other items used in sexual relations.
The place, which did not have an operating license and was underground, was closed by the Civil Police.
The owner of the establishment confessed that she operated prostitution, and that the place had been operating for 6 years as a closed sadomasochism club and that every day groups of men came to have sexual relations with the women he hired .
The woman was arrested for ruffianism, a crime that consists of taking advantage of other people’s prostitution, but paid R$2,800 in bail and was released.
