The Federal Highway Police (PRF) made an unusual seizure on Wednesday afternoon (2), in the city of Poções, Bahia. During a routine inspection at BR-116 km 756, the police approached a black HB20 Hyundai. When conducting the survey, irregularities were found in the documents and the identification items of the vehicle.
The PRF said it was clear that the car was cloned. The vehicle had been stolen in Sao Paulo in February this year. The driver, who was accompanied by family members, stated that the car belonged to a neighbor and had borrowed him to go to a wake. She said she did not know any irregularity in the seized vehicle.
Despite his version, the woman, who was not named, was arrested and taken to the Potions Civil Police Station.
