A woman, whose identity was not disclosed, was seriously injured after colliding with her car against the front of a truck, on Rodovia do Contorno Norte de Curitiba (PR-418). The accident occurred last Monday (13).
According to the State Highway Police (PRE), the car the woman was driving belonged to the Health Department of General Carneiro, a city located in the extreme south of Paraná.
The driver was heading towards Colombo when, while overtaking a truck, she collided with another trailer that was traveling in the opposite direction of the road.
Also according to PRE, the woman was trapped in the wreckage due to the collision. She was taken to Hospital Evangélico, in Curitiba. The truck driver was not injured.
