Geane Fernandes Gonçalves Pereira, 39, was murdered with several knife blows when he fetched his 3 -month -old son at the home of the child in a community in the south of Recife. Witnesses told police that the perpetrator had already premeditated femicide.
The suspect would be waiting for the former partner to arrive armed with a knife. The man would have used the baby to hide the knife. As he approached Geane, the aggressor began to unravel the blows. Then he put the child on the floor. A 38 -year -old neighbor tried to hold the suspect but was also stabbed. The injured was attended to a health unit and has been discharged. The suspect fled swimming through a river. The police do not yet know the whereabouts of the criminal.
Family members fear that the suspect will return to the community. They told investigators that the perpetrator did not accept the end of the relationship. Even witnesses said they had witnessed other aggressions that the victim had suffered.
The 19 Military Police Battalion team isolated the crime area until the arrival of the Task Force of the Department of Homicide and Person Protection (DHPP), which investigates femicide.
