A woman identified as Dileuza de Vasconcelos Campinho, 40, was shot dead last Friday (16) in Remanso, in the interior of Bahia. According to the State Civil Police, the victim I was coming back from the gym when it was hit near your residence.
According to police information, Dileuza and a friend walked down the street when they were surprised by two suspects on a motorcycle.
In an interview with CNN Lucelia Pereira Batista, a friend who walked with the victim, said she saw one of the men firing. “We were co -workers and I was with her at the time of the crime. We were coming back from the gym,” he said.
The Bahia Military Police reported that, upon arriving at the scene, the team found the woman to the ground, injured and without vital signs.
According to Lucelia, her friend had two children. “She was a wonderful person. Warrior, hardworking and loved her children. She was very cheerful, fun, a good person,” he said.
The Territorial Police Station stated that it investigates the case as femicide and seeks to identify all involved to clarify the motivation of the fact.
