The user identified on the platform as Brenna (@brennalina) shared the clip that to date already has 23.7 million views, 3 million likes and more than 10 thousand comments. In this recording it is seen that the girl is aboard a car that she claims to be a taxi from the Uber platform.
Likewise, it can be seen in the video that the girl is tearing out some of her hair to throw it in the car, to later mark her fingerprints on the glass of the window, but for what purpose? Simple, to leave traces of her DNA in the unit in case of being kidnapped or disappeared.
Yes, it is something crude but, unfortunately, real, not being able to travel in a taxi without thinking about the possibility of being a victim of some crime. The saddest thing of all is that many women felt identified in the comments, some even left more advice for when getting into a car.
For some women, the video caused a feeling of sadness or fear, because, although it seems an exaggeration, it is the reality that we face every day for the simple fact of belonging to the female sex. And it is that the video is also accompanied by an audio of a voice that is sobbing and says “how I love being a woman!”
I’ve done this for years, even in family cars because you never know; don’t throw your hair, put it between the seats so they can’t clean it so easily; how sad that we have to do this; this is witty and tragic at the same time.
